Annual OJ Alvarado Legacy Remembrance Poker Run
Garden City, Colorado
The ride starts at VFW Pioneer Post 2121, 2514 7th Avenue in Garden City. Registration is from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The ride fee is $15.00 for the rider and $5.00 for a passenger of extra hand. The ride will include stops in Pierce, Fort Collins, Berthoud, and Evans before ending in Windsor. The ride ends with Silent auctions and more. This annual event will honor and remember OJ Alvarado, an active duty marine who passed away while serving his country. Funds raised will go to The Semper Fi Fund, the Colorado Gold Star Family Weekend and any local veteran or service member that might need a hand.
