9/11 Memorial Remembrance Ride - Northeast

The Ride starts at American Legion Post #97, 1729 Sprott Streret in Auburn. Onsite registration begins at 5:30 am and ends promptly at 6:45. Online registration is available and recommended. Motorcycles go out at 7:00 am. Motorcycles will stop for gas in Gas City. Participants may join the ride at American Legion Post #95, 6440 County Road 500 South in Gas City. Onsite registration begins at 8:00 for Gas City riders. The ride continues to Indianapolis at 9:30 am. The ride fee is $25.00 if preregistered online before September 3rd at 11:59 pm. On the day of the ride the fee is $35.00. The ride fee includes a meal at the end of the event. First 2,000 registrants receive 9/11 commemorative chip and patch. There will be three additional rides starting in Valparaiso, Jasper and Madison. The rides can also be joined in West Lafayette, Spencer and Greensburg. All rides will gather at the Indiana American Legion Department Headquarters in Indianapolis. Participants will then ride together into Downtown Indianapolis and arrive at the Indiana 9/11 Memorial site that contains two 22-foot steel beams from the Twin Towers.
