The ride starts at Duke's Harley Davidson, 5 Classic Car Drive in Blenheim. Registration begins at 8:00 am and motorcycles go out at 10:00 am. The ride fee is $30.00 for the rider and $20.00 for a passenger The ride fee includes food at the end of the ride. Prizes will be given for top fundraisers. The ride goes along both Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair. The route will end with a barbecue lunch. The event is a provincial fundraising motorcycle program directly benefiting over 25,000 Special Olympics athletes with an intellectual disability. The Torch Ride for Special Olympics is a celebration of the motorcycle industry, motorcycle enthusiasts and Law Enforcement Motorcycle Divisions and their support of Special Olympics Ontario. It is a one day event held in numerous communities across the Province in which Law Enforcement Officers make special dispensation and escorts a safe and controlled motorcycle ride or supports a “Poker Ride” through their respective communities.
