Annual Vets of The Valley Poker Run

The poker run starts at Blue Ridge Caf'e, 8315 Seminole Trail in Ruckersville. Registration is from 10:30 am to 11:45 am and motorcycles go out at 12:00 pm. The ride fee is $15.00 for the rider and $5.00 for a passenger. The ride will include three stops before ending in Ruckersville with a 50/50 raffle and more. All participants must turn in hands by 5:00 pm. $250.00 will be awarded for the high hand and $250.00 for the low hand. Proceeds will benefit Service Dogs of Virginia.

Service Dogs of Virginia is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that raises, trains, and places dogs to assist people with disabilities and provides facility dogs for courthouses, counseling centers, schools, and other therapeutic settings. Service Dogs of Virginia makes a commitment to provide ongoing training and support for each individual with which it places a dog. This ongoing relationship provides us the opportunity to observe each dog’s progress and to ensure it is being utilized to its maximum benefit.
